The first and main shipment of parts arrived. The driver Mike and his wife Dee were able to gently lower the crate from their truck and park it about a foot away from the garage door. (All under Dexter’s supervision)

Freakishly the weather co-operated with us today. Mother Nature dealt us 50 degrees and sunny in Mid January!
Special shout out to my oldest son Mark who is 30 today!
First thing this bright Saturday morning, son-in-law Ken and grandson Kamryn arrive with coffee in hand to help un-tarp the “Big Box”. It wasn’t long before Andy and my buddy Paul showed up to help.
Everything un-crated and put away. Parts in the house Car body on the lift and the chassis on the dolly Paul and I made. Kam and make ready for the rest of the parts to arrive and the build to begin!
Sunday was inventory day – All boxes opened, checked against the shipping manifest, re-boxed, labeled and catalogued. An all-day event! As you can see, the counting took a toll on me 🙂

The load of parts from Whitby Motorcar arrive. Buddy Paul and I went to the transport yard in Grand Island NY to pick up ourselves. Inventoried those and found a few small items missing, most notably one muffler. Jeff at Whitby MC was all over it! Came within a week!

The hardtop FINALLY arrived today. I have to say Factory Five spends a lot of money on wood – Very high quality crates! They create a ton of firewood when they are broken down

Spring is here and the engine arrived today. Had to make room in the garage by un-crating the roof and reorganizing things to get the bikes out. Now the roof is up on the car body on the lift now. Looks like my garage will be like a rub-ix cube for a while. To see the engine/trans un-crated, click HERE to go to the Powertrain Section
